By recycling about 70 tonnes of leather waste fibres per year it reduces the vast impact on the environment. Removing these fibres from landfill or incineration to create a new longlasting product has a significant possitive effect on the environment. Newly developped bio resins combined with low risk chemicals only adds to the true value of this sustainable product.
In the quest for sustainable but also innovative cover materials we have combined recycling with the most advanced bio resin coating technology. WINTAN® VINTAGE consists of 100% recycled leather fibres (PIW). The additives of a bonding agent as well as tanning oils and fats are to maintain the real leather characteristics. The longevity and ease of use of WINTAN® VINTAGE ensures continuation of a circular economy.
