Recycled leather. Wintan® Safia feels and smells like leather. However, the embossed leather fibre fabric (Lefa) is made from over 80% natural tannery waste (PIW). The surface is PU-coated. In terms of softness, robustness and durability, it is as good as the original. The leather fibre fabric is available as roll material and thus offers maximum utilisation of the material without unnecessary cutting waste. Wintan® Safia is part of our ever-growing Winter Wrup-Cycling range. It includes a wide range of cover materials where we maximally reduce or even completely eliminate the use of virgin resources, therefore contributing to a sustainable circular economy.

Wintan® Safia is the optimal solution for sustainable book covers, luxury packaging, stationery items, hang tags and labels. The production is OEKO-TEX® certified as well as REACH compliant. Our customers print it using screen printing and finish it with blind or hot foil stamping.
