Recycled leather. Wintan® Palma feels and smells like leather hide. However, the lightly mottled leather fibre (Lefa) is made from over 80% natural tannery waste (PIW). The cover material is coated with a water-based acrylic lacquer. In terms of robustness and durability, it is as good as the original. The leather fibre fabric is available in rolls, thus offering maximum utilisation of the material without unnecessary cutting waste. Wintan® Palma is part of our ever-growing Winter Wrup-Cycling range. It includes a wide range of cover materials where we maximally reduce or even completely eliminate the use of virgin resources, thus contributing to a sustainable circular economy.

Wintan® Palma is the optimal solution for sustainable book covers, luxury packaging, stationery items, hang tags and labels. The production is OEKO-TEX® certified as well as REACH compliant. Our customers print it using screen printing and finish it with blind or hot foil stamping.
